It has been my experience that it is virtually impossible to win a ticket in court without a lawyer. Don't be surprised if the police officer lies in court (it has happened to me and the judge new it, gave me instructions on how to appeal, and told me that he had to believe the police officer when there were conflicting stories!) On a side-note, that officer was terminated from the force a few months later (unrelated to my tickets) but that didn't help me much. Also, remember that you drive a distinctive car which will be targeted if you personnally challange the officer's credibility. Somehow they seem to respect you more if you appear with an attorney. What a system! Toyz
